Ashton Kutcher Appears on Dave Letterman With Bulletproof Vest

Wednesday night, new Two and a Half Men star Ashton Kutcher, played a little joke on Late Show With David Letterman while appearing as a guest on the famed talk show wearing a bulletproof vest labeled “Not Dave” and what seemed to be a police helmet after Letterman received death threats from a Muslim militant who was angered with one of his Al Qaeda jokes. It was just a joke but did Dave find it funny?
Dave certainly dishes it out so he has to be prepared for some of the biting jokes to come back his way and last night the Punk'd star was well prepared to take a bite out of Dave. The newly appointed star of Two and Half Men shed his protective gear to talk about his upcoming debut come September 19 on CBS.
Kutcher has been tight lipped about his new character and claims that he is under orders not to reveal any juicy tidbits. What we do know is that he will play billionaire Internet entrepreneur, Waldon Schmidt, who is devastated by a divorce and may be suicidal he revealed.
If that is the case and somehow they can make that storyline funny then let’s hope it works otherwise, Kutcher may seriously have to wear that protective gear himself to ward off disappointed fans. As for the Dave Letterman death threats and the current FBI investigation, he bounced back with a joke, “I’m so sorry, I’m a little late coming out. Backstage, I was talking to the guy from CBS. We were going through the CBS life insurance policy to see if I was covered for jihad.”
